Charlie’s Celtic Tavern at Noble Court Holiday Park and Celtic Escapes, Redstone Road, Narberth, Pembrokeshire. SA67 7ES
Charlie’s Restaurant and Bar, Croft Country Park, Reynalton, Kilgetty, Pembrokeshire. SA68 OPE

Salary: Ranges according to age and experience. For discussion at interview

Hours: We are open to your suggestions. Open to applications from 15 years of age upwards.

Reports to: Team Leader and Chefs

Job Purpose: To play a key role in supporting the kitchen team to create and maintain a clean, tidy and safe working environment, as well as supporting preparation of menu items.

MAIN DUTIES:

Operations and standards

Creating and maintaining a safe and clean working environment in line with food service hygiene and preparation standards. Taking control of washing up and operating dishwashing equipment
Maintaining all cleaning equipment
Cleaning cutlery, crockery, cooking equipment etc
Cleaning and clearing all kitchen areas including emptying bins, sweeping and mopping floors
Cleaning and deep cleaning of fridges, any store rooms and storage facilities
Assisting with pre service food preparation

Competencies

Willingness to learn and develop on the job, taking on board the opportunity to gain new skills and experience
Ability to work under pressure, especially during busy service times
Flexible, punctual and excellent time keeping
Ability to follow processes as set within the working environment

Reporting

General Manager, Managing Director and Departmental Heads as relevant.
