Ironman Wales 2023 Road Closures on 3rd September in South Pembrokeshire

On Sunday 3rd September, Iron Man is once again coming to Pembrokeshire!
This means that there will be road closures around South Pembrokeshire during certain times of the day, and in some cases most of the day. This article is to advise routes to access our 3 Holiday Parks, and also where you can enjoy spectating all the action on the big day!
Meadow House
The road in Summerhill which is the location of the Park will be closed from 9.30 am to 6.15 pm. Guests will therefore need to leave the Park at 9.30 if they wish to spend time out and about and will not be able to return until 6.15 pm. The map attached also shows other areas of Pembrokeshire which are affected including main tourism honey spots such as Tenby and Saundersfoot. Guests will therefore need to pre plan their holiday experience. The popular town of Narberth is also closed for the day.
Noble Court and Celtic Escapes
Whilst guests will not have an issue getting in and out of the Park, the one way street of the closest town of Narberth is closed between 9:30am and 5:30pm and as above many honey spots are inaccessible, so the same pre planning issues will arise. The B4313 road out of Narberth is closed until 6:15pm.
Croft Country Park
Guests will not have a problem accessing or leaving the Park however due to the cycle route coming through Templeton, there will be delays due to road crossing systems. As above Narberth which is close by is closed and as above many honey spots are inaccessible, so the same pre planning issues will arise.

Just returned home for a fabulous 2 nights in a luxury safari tent. The tent was very well equipped and spotlessly clean with lovely comfortable beds.

A fantastic weekend at the Classic Car Rally, staying in the Glamping Pods. Would recommend very highly, stunning, clean & so comfy! Next thing to try is the Bluebells.

We were very impressed by the site itself, the staff, the food, everything, but mostly Ollie! From the first chat on the phone he was not pushy at any time (which would have made us walk away), so helpful, extremely informative & nothing was too much trouble.
