Halloween in Pembrokeshire this October 2025

Looking for some Halloween thrills this October half term? Here are some wickedly fun activities we’ve found to get the whole family in the spooky spirit!

Folly Farm are pulling out all the stops with their events, games and talks.
From now until 2nd November you can follow the Scarecrow Trail and find the clues, play the themed VR ride Haunted Hallows Escape for 2 tokens per person (plus entry fee), take the Ghost Train for 1 token per person (plus entry fee), or hop on the Haunted Hay Bales Land Train.
From the 25th October to 2nd November, you can meet the Creepy Creatures in the barn, learn about Venoms Vs Poisons at 12pm daily, follow the Poo in the Zoo trail, or get a themed Glitter Tattoo (£5 each or 2 for £8). There are also treats for anyone who visits in costume!
From the 27th to 31st October you can join the Dung Detectives Poo Workshop for £4 per child (plus entry fee), advance booking required, but adults don’t need to book or pay an additional fee.
Don't forget to keep your eyes peeled for the pumpkin puzzle feeders the keepers give to the animals for some spooky enrichment.
And there's even more going on that we couldn’t fit in!

Steynton Farm Pumpkins is perfect for visiting with the little ones, with a pumpkin barn and pick your own pumpkin field, plus photo opportunities, sweet and savoury snacks, and hot and cold drinks.
Open 10:30am to 6pm on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays in October

Castell Henllys are giving you the chance to turn back the clock and get involved with a more traditional Halloween experience.
On the 28th October, join them for Druid Magic and learn some iron age druidic secrets like fire lighting, bread making, and face painting for £7 per child (plus entry fee).
On the 31st October you can celebrate Samhain, or Noson Calan Gaeaf, with the villagers. Get stuck in with some hands on activities and listen to fireside stories for £10.50 per adult and £8.50 per child (plus entry fee).
And between 25th October and 2nd November you can explore the Haunted Henllys Trail, seeking out spirits, ghosts, and monsters. Capture their images or names to claim a prize!

And for a FREE event:
On the 31st October from 5pm to 9pm, join in with the Dark Street Halloween Takeover in Haverfordwest - an immersive experience with children’s activities, games, and spooky surprises. A quiet session is available from 4pm to 5pm (ALN friendly).
